Vi Waghiyi, of St. Lawrence Island and Environmental Health and Justice Program Director with IPEN Participating Organization Alaska Community Action on Toxics (ACAT), is featured in the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences publication, Partnerships for Environmental Public Health in an article: Fighting for Environmental Justice in the Arctic. The article includes her work to hold the military accountable as well as work to eliminate POPs contamination in the Arctic.
