New release: Emissions from burning plastics in domestic fireplaces, household stoves and boilers, with special focus on POPs
18 November 2013
A new literature review pertaining to emissions from burning plastics in domestic fireplaces, household stoves and boilers, with a special focus on persistent organic pollutants (POPs), has been prepared for Arnika and Center of Environmental Solutions by Alan Watson C.Eng (Public Interest Consultants).
The literature review is based on publications relevant to European countries where data about domestic combustion sources with potential for high emissions of dioxins is available. In some cases, studies carried out in comparable conditions in other parts of the world were also used to supplement this data.
