Kids on the Frontline: How pesticides are undermining the health of rural children
11 May 2016
Pesticide Action Network North America (PANNA) has released a new report: Kids on the Frontline: How pesticides are undermining the health of rural children
The report provides an update of the science linking pesticide exposure and many rising children’s health issues like cancers, neurodevelopmental harm and respiratory impacts. Children are particularly susceptible to the health harms associated with pesticides and those living in rural, agricultural communities are exposed to a “double dose” from pesticides applied in nearby fields.
