IPEN Comments on Green Chemistry and Sustainable Chemistry

IPEN has prepared comments on green chemistry and sustainable chemistry in response to Resolution 2/7 of the UN Environment Assembly. IPEN believes that sustainable chemistry will only be useful if it is clearly defined in a way that includes reducing and eliminating the hazards of chemicals over their lifecycle as a priority. In some uses, that includes non-chemical approaches such as agroecology.
